I came across this courtesy of Cartoon Brew. Gutierrez talks with the guys who run the podcast Deltorocon about the influence of the movie, art direction, how the film got off the ground, his working relationship with producer Guillermo del Toro, among other things. It's definitely worth the listen, and Gutierrez sounds like a really awesome guy. The animation world is lucky to have him around!
